SevenDeadMen @biffus I feel as if the fight wasn't really the point of the episode and that's why it was underwhelming. The first season explored more about Mob's powers and the psychic phenomenon as a whole, while this one seems to focus on the emotional and philosophical aspects that being such a powerful esper will pose for Mob in the future. The fight felt less like a fight and more like him trying to stop a natural disaster of turbulent emotions and evil, which is why I can't necessarily say its disappointing compared to the other fight scenes; I don't really view it as one.

Itachimai The Mob Psycho series is one of the all time best. I agree with the comments made that the fight was underwhelming, I think this was the result of it not being grounded in the real world. As a result, there was no good reference for scale. In the real world if half a city blows up, you feel the impact. When, in some nether mental realm, a block of buildings blow up, there is no reference. They are divorced from inertia, the result of their mass. Makes the fight kind of floaty.

biffus @kadaiten i feel you. the episode was really good but the fight was somehow underwhelming compared to season 1 but maybe thats just because my expectations were THAT high.

Sirzerchs Mob is so precious.And For the people who did not understand the episode this is gonna be spoiler.When Mobs form wiped out it made his purest form appears.A form which contains every emotion.Both negative and positive.And after his vessel broken, the other esper said "so that how you were".So broken vessel equals to mobs purest form which exceeds the power of all espers.Thats what happened for the people who did not understand
